Introducing our Mid Century Modern Z Chairs. Based on the famous, 1950’s Selig Z- Chair originally created by Poul Jensen, these chairs capture and revitalise the iconic, Danish design. Handmade in Sussex, these luxury pieces are constructed using the very best timber. They are finished with a durable, hardwearing oil that enhances the wood’s natural character.

We undertake sourcing all the timber ourselves from reputable and sustainable sources from which the chairs are made. Depending on stock we may have a few chairs available for you to look at in person either at a showroom near to us or at our workshop in Lindfield.

We can supply the Z-Chairs, Sofas and Footstools unfurnished however, we have recently added the option to purchase cushions along with our chair frames.

Cushions include our standard fabric provided by Clarke & Clarke available in a wide range of colours. These colour choices can be found here. If you have a specific fabric in mind this can be upgraded at an additional cost. If you would like to go ahead with our standard fabric please input your colour choice in the box provided. If you would like an alternate fabric we please let us know.

Cushions are tailored to your exact requirements. Talk to us about your design requirements and we can pass your ideas to our local upholsterer (Fine Furnishings of Lindfield) who are a five minute walk from us; they will hand make each individual cushion to your own specification. We continue to be impressed with their quality of work and friendly nature.
